IT Service Desk Engineer (f/m/x)

The Challenge

The Infrastructure Services Team at Avira is responsible for providing best-in-class IT Services to enable the company's success.

Your main task will be to support Avira´s employees in all aspects of their digital workplace, being the single point of contact for them at our headquarter in Tettnang.

Additionally, you will support the Infrastructure Services teams in projects such as hard-/ and software roll outs.

Customer centricity needs to be part of your DNA as your work will directly make an impact supporting Avira´s employees globally.

The Team

Being part of the flagship team of our unit, you will work together with a diverse team of Service Desk engineers located in Bucharest, Romania and Tettnang, Germany.

What you will do

  • You will be responsible for the 1st level support of the Infrastructure Services service portfolio.
  • You will contribute to the development of Avira´s digital workplace environment together with the Infrastructure Services teams in various projects.
  • You will support a heterogeneous portfolio of endpoints (Windows, Mac OS, iOS), software and equipment across Avira´s digital workplace.
  • You will assure a high rate of customer satisfaction by measuring your own results on a daily basis.

  • Strong customer focus and proven technical problem solving skills as an IT generalist
  • Being comfortable supporting various operating systems and devices: Windows, Mac OS, iOS, Linux
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting issues of various software such as MS Office, Video conferencing tools, collaboration tools, etc.
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement of yourself and your results
  • Your fluent English language skills allow you to interact with users both verbally as well as in written form (e.g. documentation, ticket support)
