Senior Manager M&A Projects (f/m/x)

The Team

As Senior Manager M&A Projects you will report directly to our Chief Legal Officer and
will work within a dynamic team that drives revenue and business growth by identifying and acquiring new businesses and delivering post-merger integration planning and support. You will help to evaluate potential acquisition targets by developing business cases, providing business valuation and other decision-making documents.

Your role will be highly connected throughout the entire organization. You will manage projects covering multiple business units and locations. You will ensure that projects deliver the value according to the business objectives and stay within the agreed budgets. The position is open for remote work (European time zones preferred). Regular travel to Avira’s Headquarters and other office locations will be required.

The Responsibilities

  • Manage M&A projects as part of a highly professional team working closely with top executive management and business unit leaders.
  • Analyze company financials and perform business valuations incl. detailed cash-flow modeling
  • Provide growth and synergy prospects, integration cost forecasts and acquisition feasibility based on different transaction structures
  • Setup, manage and coordinate due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Plan and coordinate post-merger integration in line with business plans and other project objectives
  • Engage in further developing and improving our internal processes and tools

Your Profile

  • University degree, MBA or equivalent education preferred
  • 5+ years of M&A transaction execution experience and/or closely related fields (e.g. corporate finance, investment management/controlling, investment banking, private equity)
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus (excellent written and verbal communication skills)
  • Proficient project management skills, experienced in international complex projects, preferably you led interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and present complex information to top-level management
  • Outstanding relationship management skills
  • Experience in ICT industry is a plus
